House Party is a film franchise based on Reginald Hudlin's award-winning Harvard University student film. Ever the loyal friend, he's also there to help bail out his partner when the latter ends up jailed. He manages to get out of another scrape with Stab and his brothers, and they all end up in a jail cell. Kid entertains the rest of the men in the cell by rapping, distracting them long enough for Play, Sharane, Bilal, and Sydney to arrive and bail him out.
Still, he is far and away the biggest name to emerge from the House Party cast. It focuses on a group of teenagers planning a party at home while their parents are on vacation, only to have the craziest night of their lives unfold. The cult success of the first film resulted in several sequels, including a remake set to release on HBO Max in 2022.
Allen Maldonado portrays Kyle, a friend of Kevin and Damon who gets involved in the wild events of the house party. D.C. Young Fly plays the character Vic, a lively and comedic friend of Kevin who brings his own brand of humor to the movie. Two young men working as house cleaners experience hardships in life.
